Vote for Kyle for Kalispell City Council, WARD 3
Meet Kyle
Kyle Waterman was born in Montana and returned to Kalispell 15 years ago. He’s been involved in the community in social services and as an advocate for local solutions in the community. Kyle previously served on Kalispell City Council in 2018-2021.
“Kalispell needs City Council members who will guide us thoughtfully through growth and work to keep Kalispell a place we all can call home.”
Kyle will work to keep Kalispell fair, unique, and neighborly.
POLITICS ASIDE
AND
KALISPELL FIRST
PUBLIC SAFETY
Kyle will prioritize public safety and believes that enforcement should be:
Swift
Fair
Consistent
Enforcement of our laws shouldn’t be selective, and the government needs to be accessible to everyone. Enforcement should be fair to everyone and provide reasonable accommodations and local restoration. Enforcement should be the same for everyone - not just favor those who can pay for lawyers to file for exceptions.
KYLE WILL THINK INDEPENDENTLY…
Kyle promises to:
Read the Materials
Read the Constitution
Read the Room
Too often our politicians are quick to speak without taking the time to research, understand the law, and listen to constituents. Kyle has a proven record of doing the work for the people.
ACCESS FOR ALL
Kyle believes your liberties include ACCESS to all the Kalispell community. This includes having:
Pubic Transportation
Quality Parks & Recreation Activities
And a healthy partnership with Flathead County for social services, the library, and community health.
City Council is the space for the people of Kalispell to be heard and for action to be taken to better our City. Kyle is dedicated to making sure the public process is open, accessible, and for everyone. More importantly, Kyle will work to make sure that the City of Kalispell works with our Flathead County and State of Montana partners to make sure your liberties are protected.
A GAY, CHRISTIAN, MARRIED, AND GUN-OWNING MONTANAN
Having a variety of political views, Kyle understands the frustration when our politicians hold onto the status quo, reject nuance, and treat us as if we are two-dimensional cardboard cutouts of what they want us to be.
Kyle won’t be obedient to any party and will put community needs first. He will approach issues from every angle, listening to the residents of Kalispell, and be the kind of leader Kalispell deserves.
